Delete Your Kadhai Kutty Account & Data

Kadhai Kutty (Kutty Kathai) lets parents create personalized AI storybooks for their children. We take your privacy seriously. You can delete your account and all associated data at any time using either method below.

Option 1: Delete from inside the app (recommended)

1. Open the Kadhai Kutty app on your device.
2. Sign in to the account you want to delete.
3. Go to Settings (tap your profile icon in the top-right corner).
4. Scroll to the bottom and tap Delete Account.
5. Confirm the deletion. Your account, all child profiles, uploaded photos, and generated stories will be permanently removed within 7 days.

Option 2: Request deletion by email

If you cannot access the app, send an email from the address registered to your account to:

Use the subject line "Delete My Kadhai Kutty Account". We will verify your identity and process the deletion within 7 working days.

What data is deleted

• Your account (email, name, sign-in credentials)
• All child profiles you created (names, ages)
• All uploaded child photos (removed from our AWS S3 storage)
• All generated storybook episodes and illustrations linked to your account
• Subscription / purchase history linked to your account identifier

What data we may retain

• Anonymized payment records — required for tax and financial compliance under Indian law (DPDP Act & Income Tax Act). These records contain no personal identifiers and are kept for the legally mandated period (typically 7 years).
• Backup snapshots — encrypted backups are purged on a 30-day rolling cycle.
